Our Purpose
Punta Cana Film Academy was born with a clear conviction: the Dominican Republic and the Caribbean have extraordinary stories to tell, extraordinary talents to develop, and the world is waiting to hear them. Our mission is to build the bridge between that talent and the international film industry.
We are a hands-on training academy in film, acting, cinematographic photography and digital content creation. We train complete filmmakers, actors and creators — professionals who graduate ready to work from day one, with real projects in their portfolio and their own artistic vision.

We deeply believe in the potential of Dominican cinema. Our programs train the filmmakers who will bring the stories of our land to international festivals and screens.
We train to global standards. Our tutors are active professionals in international productions who bring real industry experience into the classroom.
No theory without practice. From the first class there is a camera in hand and a project underway. By the end of each program students have real works to show the world.
